  • Dial the passcode (4321), 1, and #.
  • Dial #55. Display shows [YY MM DD W HH MM].
  • Dial new information as follows:
    • YY = Last two digits of the year
    • MM = Two digit month (01-12)
    • DD = Two digit day of the month (01-31)
    • W = Day of the week (1-7, 1 for Monday and 7 for Sunday)
    • HH = Two digit hour (use military time)
    • MM = Minutes (00-59)
  • Dial # to set current date and time.

      • MM = Month, enter 01 for January, 12 for December.
      • DD = Day of the month, enter 01-31.
      • W = Day of the week, enter 0 for Sunday, 6 for Saturday.
      • HH = Hours, enter 2 digit hour. Use military time 00-24.
      • MM = Minutes, enter 00-59.

  • The display shows [ENABLE CUS. PROG. - ENABLE]
    • Press TRSF.
    • Press TRSF and dial 505.
    • Enter the new information as follows:
      • W (Day of the week): 0 for Sunday and 6 for Saturday.
      • MM (Month): Enter 01 for January and 12 for December.
      • DD (Day of the month): Enter 01-31.
      • YY (Year): Enter the last two digits of the year.
      • HH (Hours): Enter 2 digit hour. Use military time 00-24.
      • MM (Minutes): Enter 2 digit minutes.

    • If you do not need to change the date, press # to skip to the TIME.
    • Use the keypad to enter the month, day, and year.
      • Example: dial 010196 for January 1, 1996.
  • Display shows TIME (current time).
    • If you do not need to change the time, press # twice to exit.
  • Use the keypad to enter the time in hours and minutes.
    • Example: dial 0900 for 9:00.
  • Select AM or PM. Press 1 for AM or press 2 for PM.
  • Display shows [SYSTEM DATE AND TIME UPDATED].

Note: You may backspace to correct information by pressing MUTE or you may press * to cancel and leave it unchanged and start over.

Note: If you make a mistake while performing the following procedure, lift and replace the handset to start over, or press MUTE to backspace.

  • While on-hook, press SPCL and dial 021.
  • Display shows [SET TIME OF DAY}.
  • Using the keypad, enter the time in hours and minutes. Then press * for AM or # for PM.
    • Example: 900* = 9:00 AM and 230# = 2:30 PM.
  • Display shows [SET DATE MM-DD-YYYY].
  • Use the keypad to enter the month, day, and year.
    • Example: 01011996 = January 1, 1996.
  • Display shows [SET DAY OF WEEK SUN].
  • Scroll through the day-of-week by pressing # to go forward or * to go backward. When the desired day is displayed, press SPKR to terminate programming. You hear a progress tone.
