Standard Telephone Connections
There is no substitute for the versatility of standard telephone connections. Use a variety of single-line telephone sets, cordless phones or answering machines for basic voice communications.

Connecting your facsimile, modem and credit card machines to these extensions will provide data communications over any line in the Prostar 816 Plus system.

With the 816 Plus stations 27 & 28 can be used with standard telephone sets by simply setting some switches. Nothing else to purchase. Adding the appropriate expansion cards will allow you to connect up to a maximum of ten standard telephones.

DSS & BLF
816 model keysets have Direct Station Selection keys for one touch intercom calling and a Busy Lamp Field that shows the status of each station in the system. A quick glance at your keyset and you will know who is on the phone and who is not.

Large and Easy to Read Display
Inexpensive doesn't mean you have to strain your eyes to see a tiny LCD window. Prostar 816 keysets proudly boast of a large easy to read display that provides helpful information.

Tri-Colored Display
No confusion here. Your calls light green. Recalls flash amber. Other calls show red.

Comprehensive Toll Restriction
Stop unauthorized telephone calls with Prostar's extensive toll restriction plan. Large allow and deny lists provide flexibility to control call abuse and ensure compatibility with measured service, interchangeable area/office codes and the proposed new North American Numbering Plan (NANP).

RS 232 Serial Interfaces
Prostar 816 Plus provides two serial interface ports that can be used for remote programming with a modem, to print a copy of all your system data and provide details of all your outgoing calls (SMDR). This SMDR output can be connected to an optional call accounting system for sophisticated analysis and costing.

Direct Inward System Access (DISA)
This feature allows you to call in from any tone dialing telephone and use your office line to make outgoing calls. This feature can also be used to bypass the attendant and dial stations directly. A DISA security code discourages unauthorized callers.

Power at your Fingertips
Optional features on most telephones come standard on Prostar keysets. Every 816 model comes with a built-in speakerphone, eight line keys and sixteen Direct Station Selection keys with busy lamp indications for all stations. These dual function keys also provide sixteen personal speed dial buttons. An additional eight fixed function and four programmable function keys allow you to customize the Prostar 816 Plus with the keys you need most. Choose either a display or non-display model.

The economical 800 model has twelve programmable keys and eight fixed function keys. Twelve of these are dual function keys so they also serve as personal speed dial buttons. A speaker is included so you may receive page announcements or dial without lifting the handset.

Included in all three models are such conveniences as built in wall mount bracket, long handset and base cords plus independent volume adjustments for the ringer, speaker and handset receiver. Connecting a headset is simple and no additional equipment is required.

Prostar keysets provide all this power at your fingertips without breaking the bank.
