SELECTED FEATURE DESCRIPTIONS

Account Code Entry
Station users may enter an account code (maximum 12 digits) before hanging up from a call. This account code will appear in the SMDR printout for that call record. Keyset users may enter this code using an account (ACCT) key without interrupting a conversation.

Authorization Codes
Authorization codes are used to give permission to make a call. These four digit authorization codes can be either forced or voluntary. When used, authorization codes will automatically change the dialing station's class of service to the level assigned to the authorization code. Authorization codes may be programmed to print or not print on SMDR.

Auto Attendant
The MISC2 card for the DCS 50si includes four ports of auto attendant for simultaneous answering and call processing. Sixteen professionally recorded prompts inform callers of the progress of their calls. Two minutes of battery-backed random access memory (RAM) provide up to 48 customer recordings for announcements or greetings. Twelve individual greeting boxes, each with its own dialing options, allow you to build call routing branches as needed. Callers are routed through the branches by dialing extension numbers or single digits.
