AXXESSORY Talk Central - Exceptional Unified
Messaging
Designed to run on a Windows NTŪ server, AXXESSORY Talk Central
combines all your messages e-mail, fax and voice mail through
a graphical user interface (GUI) into one central mail management
program. Accessible through a variety of devices, your voice mail
messages come across as .WAV files; faxes come across as .TIF
files. With an application that plays .WAV files, you can listen
to or record voice mail messages through your computer's multi-media
speakers or through a telephone handset, for more privacy. And,
you can improve productivity by sending and receiving faxes from
your desktop PC. Three levels of options meet all the communication
needs of every size and type of business.

Level 1 - Delivers Standard Unified Messaging

With Level 1, employees have basic unified messaging on their
PCs. Voice mail messages are converted to waveform (.WAV) files
and received as attachments. Complete with time, date, length
and Caller I.D. (if available) information, these messages are
easily launched or opened by any standard .WAV file player. Using
a multi-media PC, voice messages may be saved or forwarded to
other users. Incoming faxes are saved as .TIF files and routed
to a fax machine or to your voice mail system that sends it on
to a pre-programmed e-mail address. You can then open and process
the file just like any other message. Level 1 supports all popular
e-mail programs such as MAPI (Microsoft Program Applications Interface)
used by Microsoft Mail or Microsoft Exchange, VIM (Vendor Independent
Messaging) used by cc: Mail and Lotus NotesŪ, and SMTP/POP3 (Simple
Mail Transport Protocol/Post Office Protocol version 3) more commonly
known as Internet mail.

Level 2 - Expands Voice Messaging
Options
Level 2 expands the capabilities of Level 1 while
reducing storage requirements. Using custom installed forms that
increase functionality, Level 2 integrates with Microsoft's Outlook
and Windows Messaging only. Voice mail messages are no longer
converted into attachments, instead a simple e-mail notification
is sent to your mailbox. Instead of launching a .WAV file, users
can simply click on a "play" button to choose the method of delivery.
Voice mail messages are delivered through the LAN (Local Area
Network) streamed real-time over a multi-media PC or through a
desktop phone. Once the message starts playing, you can pause,
delete, rewind or fast-forward and reply via e-mail or voice mail.
New voice messages can be sent directly from your PC to entire
e-mail group lists or mailboxes.

Level 3 - Adds Outbound Faxing
Level 3 incorporates outbound faxing into AXXESSORY
Talk Central's features. Now, you can improve productivity by
sending and receiving faxes from your desktop PC. AXXESSORY Talk
Central basically becomes a fax server providing inbound faxes
to the desktop, outbound faxing from the desktop, and Fax-On-Demand
services. Also, anyone on the network can use this timesaving
feature. Another useful option is programming faxes to go out
at a future date. And, you can create a personal fax library for
frequently sent faxes.
