AXXESSORY Console combines the functionality of
the personal computer with the technology of Inter-Tel's AXXESS
system, creating an integrated communication solution for those
who answer your phones. Attendants are able to perform all types
of call handling tasks right on screen, without using a desktop
telephone. The open architecture platform of the AXXESS links
the call processing capability to the computer, allowing the operator
to process a high volume of calls quickly and efficiently.
When used in conjunction with CTI-compatible software
programs such as database managers or personal information managers,
the operator automatically knows significant customer information
such as location, customer service representative, and ordering
status.
Designed to run with Windows® 95, AXXESSORY Console
makes use of Desktop Open Architecture Interfaces, creating a
user-friendly call processing environment. The Windows® interface
enables attendants to perform call handling with the click of
a mouse.
When calls ring in, they are immediately visible
on the attendant's screen. From there, the attendant can answer,
transfer, or place the call on hold just by clicking on the appropriate
icon. The AXXESSORY Console screen provides a quick-glance view
of all calls, the status of those calls, and even the status of
individual extensions. Attendants can adjust their volume and
can even update employees' Do-No-Disturb messages, all from their
PC. AXXESSORY Console also enables attendants to access company
directories and search for extensions or employees' names, all
on their monitor, while processing a call.

AXXESSORY Console provides one key-click support for basic call
handling features, including: Answer, Hang Up, Transfer, Transfer
to Voice Mail, Transfer to Hold, Hold, Message, Tag, Volume Control,
Page, and Conference. AXXESSORY Console also provides the following
system directories: Intercom, Hunt Group, Mailbox, System Speed
Dial, and Feature Codes. Additionally, the console includes features
such as: Call Log with Redial, Message Queue, Shortcuts, Directory
Refresh, Night Mode, Saved Window, and Tool Bar Sizes and Positions.
