Inter-Tel provides truly integrated voice processing capabilities with Inter-Tel Axxent Talk. The Inter-Tel Axxent communication platform contains an integrated voice processing system, making your platform fully digital. By having digitally linked voice processing, you can avoid analog connections used by peripheral voice processing systems.

The Inter-Tel Axxent Talk system answers incoming calls with information taken directly from Caller I.D. provided by your local phone company. Integrated menus and voice processing information display on your digital terminal screen. Both the voice processing and communications platforms appear as one.

The Inter-Tel Axxent Talk voice processing system includes three applications:

Automated Attendant provides a friendly interface to assist your callers. After hearing the recording, the caller can dial an extension, mailbox number or wait for an operator. Automated Attendant answers and transfers calls twice as fast as a receptionist. Your long distance expenses can be reduced and your customer service can be enhanced.

Call Routing Announcements offers a variety of uses. For example, you can simply play a message for your callers. Or, if all of your agents are busy, a recorded message advises your callers to wait on the line for the next available agent.

Voice Mail promotes effective communication while enhancing productivity. For example:

- Inter-Tel Axxent Talk voice mail is very easy to use.Voice mail information appears on your digital terminal or PC display, if you're using AXXESSORY Connect. A visual prompt tells you when messages are received. Access your mailbox with the touch of a button.

- You get accurate information from the source every time. Your callers can change, re-record, replay or cancel their messages. When listening to your messages, you can rewind, fast-forward, replay, delete, etc.

- You can easily disseminate information to an individual, a group or to everyone in your company. And, certified delivery confirms the time your message was heard.

- With Caller I.D., information is saved in your voice mailbox whether or not the caller leaves a message.

- You can have the system call you off-site when new messages are received. You can program specific numbers for remote delivery to pagers or people.

- A security code and private password protect mailbox access. The system can notify you immediately if someone tries to illegally enter your mailbox.

- Inter-Tel Axxent Talk features Remote Messaging. Each mailbox has a Primary and/or Alternate notification number. When a voice mail is received within the Primary/Alternate programmed day or time, the system will dial a specific extension number, outside telephone number or pager number.

- With Caller I.D., the caller's number is saved even if they don't leave a message.
